Bike & Hike Kappl - Pezinerspitze

The E-Bike & Hike Tour begins at the valley station of the Kappl mountain railway. From here, you’ll first enjoy a comfortable ride up the mountain railway into the impressive mountain scenery of the Paznaun.
Once at the top, the e-bike route sets off through stunning alpine scenery. Passing glistening reservoirs, a magnificent panoramic view of the entire Paznaun Valley opens up. The route continues across gentle mountain meadows, lined with traditional, rustic mountain huts that lend the area a special alpine charm.
Following a scenic forest track through the Sattelwald, the route descends to the Blankabach stream, which you cross via a bridge. On the sunny side of the valley, a particularly beautiful stretch accompanies the route: along the forest track lie several private mountain huts, nestled in a stunning summer landscape – a real highlight for nature lovers.
The destination of the e-bike route is the idyllically situated Spiduralpe, which is perfect for a relaxing break. There is also a Bike & Hike station here (please bring your own bike lock).
From the Spiduralpe, the more challenging hiking section of the tour begins. The high-altitude trail leads north-eastwards over the Niederjöchl up to the Pezinerspitze. There, hikers are treated to a breathtaking panorama with sweeping views of the Lechtal Alps, the Stanzertal valley and as far as Landeck and Imst – a summit experience that will remain in your memory

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Kappl Bergbahn
